A UNIQUE SOCIAL TRIP
Our main goal is to break down the barriers existing in your team starting with taking away their first communication channel:
the spoken language.
No more voice, no more control of the communication flow, everybody feels helpless, but on the same level.
What a change!!! Yes, it is an out-of-whack situation for anybody.
That's exactly what we want: everybody losing control and looking for a new way to relate to each other.
TALK WITH NO VOICE
How can it be? Easy, using other tools that everybody has: fingers and a face.
The fingers to draw ideas and concepts in space, the face to bring up emotions, feelings and intensity.
The team will learn to visualize things and to express them in a spatial and visual way.
Giving a physical dimension to abstract concepts, enhances creativity and makes the brainstorming funnier and opens up new possibilities.
VISUAL THINKING
It's a way of thinking differently, processing with the right side of the brain bringing up fantasy, emotions and art. It is the same as thinking outside-the-box.
We abandon single words to concentrate on a larger concept:
what's the real message I want to get through?
I have to draw my ideas instead of building them in a grammar-ordered way.
I must convey the intensity of my thoughts without using adjectives or the sound of my voice, but exploring my body's expressive potential.
SESSION CONTENT
We mix up 3 practices: Body language, Visual language, Sign Language.
Body Language: what does your body really say? Are you aware of it?
Visual Language: it's like trying to express an idea by drawing it virtually, in your and others' minds.
Sign Language: a codified nonverbal language already exists, it is used by deaf people.
Our facilitator will introduce these concepts to the team who'll quickly shift to a visual dimension and begin to play with and have real conversations without using any spoken language.
